The Flag Officers and members of the Royal Australian Naval Sailing Association mourn the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We extend our condolences to the Royal Family and to all of the people around the world who are touched by her passing. As a sign of respect and protocol the RANSA White Ensign is being flown dailiy at half mast managed by a group of volunteers.
The Rear Commodore position has been vacant for some time and there are many RANSA social and house activities requiring attention. Matt has agreed to take on the role.

Congratulations to Squadron Committee member Jeremy Spear who was recognised by the Marine Industry Association for work completed on 2 commercial projects to win "The 2022 Commercial Marine Project/Design or Manufacturer of the Year".
Last week Nick and Roger celebrated 5 years of service with RANSA with past Flag Officers and their partners at the Boatshed with food by Navy Bear. Also present was Janet and Chris Nixon. Now that we are coming out of COVID its time to get back to some of our old favourites, Wednesday 6:30 pm 18th May after Winter Wednesday Racing we are kicking off our popular Techno Nights on the third Wednesday of every month over the Winter Racing Season.
The first Techno night will be hosted by our ex Commodore Dave Giddings - Covering Boat Maintenance - Finding & Fixing Problems

On Saturday 30th April a number of members came down to RANSA to Give the club a spruce up and remove accumulated rubbish. there are a number of items however that are in reasonable condition that maybe just what a member is looking for. Click here for details
The annual RANSA 2021-2022 Prize Night was held at the Boatshed 20th April, in person! There is now a gallery of photos from the night. Congratulations to all the winners as well as recognition of the race volunteers and of course Roger and Nick that made the series happen.
