There are some 15 trailers, boats , horseboxes etc permanently parked on New Beach Road making parking even more difficult for those taking part in RANSA and other local activities: see below and if appropriate please add your voice to the feedback request.

Nigel Berlyn, Honorary Life Member of RANSA , a member since the Seventies, and original owner of the gaff cutter Reverie which is still racing today, sadly passed away on Thursday 17 February.

Sydney turned on the weather for a perfect sailing Sunday for the this years RANSA Regatta. With over 70+ entries and 65 starters across 7 divisions RANSA managed to win back the Admirals Trophy from the CYC. Here are a few photos from the day with more to come.

Navy One successfully completed the Sydney to Hobart and retained the Oggin Cup. As you would know many crews were forced to retire due to rough weather on the first night from sail, rig, or even crew damage and then had to endure being becalmed often for many hours in between 2 high pressure systems. A get together to thank past and present volunteers as well as an opportunity for new members or those that have not yet put your hand up to come and find out about how you could contribute. Bar will be open and light refreshments served so pls RSVP
The RANSA Christmas Breakfast will be held this year on Sunday 12 December with meal service from 09:30-11:30. $30 per head, kids half price, and all proceeds go to the Sir David Martin Foundation. Pls book with the Office office@ransa.com.au
Be at RANSA today at 4:30 for the formal launch of Navy One's Sydney to Hobart campaign is kicked off by Deputy Fleet Commander Commodore Jonathon (John) Earley who is flying in from Canberra especially for the event. Additionally the Army band will be there support the friendly inter service rivalry with the Army's Gunrunner in the Sydney to Hobart

The current NSW Health requirements will need to be followed by all RANSA members and guests when using the Club including Navy Bear Cafe. This means Members entering the clubhouse will need to be double vaccinated and will have to produce their vaccination certificate to show their double vaccination status and abide by the indoor capacity requirements of 1 person per 4 sqm.
