Owing to gale warnings for Sydney closed waters this evening tonight's race is abandoned.
The cafe and bar will not therefore be open.
We hope to be back to normal next week!

BOATING INCIDENT FRIDAY 6 DECEMBER
As members may have heard, a tragic accident occurred on Sydney Harbour last night resulting in a fatality on a boat participating in the RANSA twilight race. This boat was in collision with a yet unnamed yacht from another club, participating in a different race. We extend our deepest sympathy to the crews involved and our sincere condolences to family and friends of the deceased.

The Royal Australian Naval Sailing Association exists to encourage sailing within the Navy, but we also welcome local non service sailors as members. RANSA has a busy racing schedule throughout the year, including the Combined Clubs Winter Point Score Series on Saturdays, a Midweek Series on Wednesday afternoons in Winter, the Friday Twilight Series during the summer months and the annual RANSA Regatta in February. Social events are also regular items on our calendar including "theme" dinner nights, information nights and talks by guest speakers, as are weekend cruises and the annual "Pirate's Day" event .
