Your Directors were unanimous in confirming Matt's appointment at last Monday's Squadron meeting on 24th July 2022, albeit between AGMs,
Matt comes with substantial experience and involvement in leading other volunteer organisations, and has been an active Sailing Member at RANSA for almost thirty years , currently sailing his Dufour Valentis. We warmly welcome Matt in this important role within the Club.
I also note that Mike Fountandez has taken on the role of managing media/social matters for the club in recent months, when we have held Wednesday information nights and other successful events. Note that Mike is running another Shanty Night on 10 August-we had not realised Mike’s entertaining/singing abilities, but for those who enjoy a singalong, Mike leads a great night of song and frivolity so please come and join us..
