NAVY BEAR CAFÉ

Our Café is now open daily from 7am to 4pm, and has been been very successful with minimal publicity, proving popular with the local community and members. The Rushcutters Room is as always for members only when the café is open, and a members only lounge area is being prepared in the Whalers Bar. Members are of course entitled to use any of the tables inside or out at anytime.

TWILIGHT RACING

We are now nearing the halfway stage of the twilight season and remember while other Clubs suspend twilight racing for the holiday period, RANSA  Friday twilights stop only on Christmas Day and New Years day, so keep sailing with RANSA! Crew contact details continue to be required each week, and tables have to be booked for post race refreshment and prizegiving to ensure social distancing requirements are met: we have been able to accommodate most teams, and thank you all for your cooperation with these sometimes tedious but essential requirements

CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST

The famous RANSA Christmas Breakfast will be held on Sunday 13 December, breakfast will be served from 0930 – 1130 . It will be different this year as we can’t have the usual smorgasbord of breakfast goodies- or indeed a visit from Santa! - but will have a full breakfast to include eggs, bacon, toast etc, pastries and fruit, and the usual half bottle of bubbly all for $30 per person- all profits to our favoured charity - The Sir dabvid Martin Foundation. The breakfast is open to members and their guests, bookings are required so that we have an idea of numbers, and the bar will be open: contact the office to book, by next Weds 9 December please.

NEW YEARS EVE

Again for reasons beyond our control we will not be holding the usual New Year’s Eve celebrations at RANSA and the bar will not be open. However for those members and their guests who wish to take advantage of RANSA’s pole position, they can bring BYO food and drink. The area will be fenced off with access via member’s key. Numbers will be limited according to restrictions in place at the time and monitored by security and Covid marshall.

SEASONS GREETINGS!

RANSA  Flag Officers and staff wish all members a happy, healthy and peaceful holiday season, and we look forward to seeing you on the water and here at the Club over Christmas and the New Year
