RANSA Has Updated Its Constitution - Vote Successful At AGM 93.5% In Favour
RANSA has a long and proud history being formed out of the UK based Royal Naval Sailing Association (RNSA) which is why and where our current operating guidelines or Articles of Association were drafted. Times have changed and so has the Australian law RANSA and any other Australian entity operating a business has to be compliant with The Corporations Act administered by ASIC. Our Articles of Association nor the 1990 Memorandum of Association do not reflect this requirement.
At the AGM on Friday 30th August, 2019 93.5% of the eligible attendees or their proxies voted to accept the proposed constitution, so it is now our working document replacing the Articles of Association.
