RANSA Winter Wednesday Sailing Instructions – COVID-19

RANSA along with other clubs is back on the water sooner than expected, but with some restrictions and other mandatory requirements to comply with NSW Health COVID-19 restrictions. Key points are:
 

• All winter racing is non spinnaker to assist with social distancing & numbers are now restricted to less than 10 maximum per boat
• Social distance wherever possible/practical while on board ie don’t all congregate down below
• RANSA will be open but only to gain access to your boat, do not socialise at the Club
• The Whaler Bar will not be open, nor will food be available

Australian Sailing has been granted on water exemptions, but these could be removed if we all do not play our part

The SIs are pretty much the same as last year as far as courses and timings are concerned, with some updates and the addition of clauses relating to COVID19 protocols. Download on this page.

The crew list is a simple spread sheet to download on this page which you will need to email to sailing@ransa.com.au by 1100hrs each Wednesday. It should be a question of filling it in once, then each week send with a new date and any changes as an attachment to an email with subject BOAT NAME CREW LIST 10 JUN so that it can be easily retrieved if contact tracing is necessary. Remember that if there are additions to the crew on the day additional contact details should be emailed as above asap post-race.
