RANSA Cruising Division

RANSA is more than just a Twilight and Winter Series yacht racing Club, but also looks to encourage the active racers as well as the non racing boat owners to participate in coastal cruising events. We know that many members actively cruise either around Sydney Harbour for an overnight, or coastal cruises to Pittwater and Port Stephens, so RANSA has looked to help grow this activity with the formation of the RANSA Cruising Division.

The Cruising  Division is now a sub-set of the Sailing Committee and has its own charter, which you can download. Currently the Cruising Division is being championed by Dave Giddings- see his plans for January 2024 below, and Steve Willis and his partner Nicki with their Hanse 400e Stevie Nics are based in Port Stephens, so if you need help or info about that area you can contact Steve via the office. If you are out and about don't forget to fly the RANSA burgee to let other members know you are a RANSA cruiser! 

The Cruising Division is all about the extended RANSA family and friends enjoying the wonderful coastline in and around Sydney. Upcoming events will be posted on the web site and also listed on the calendar. If you would like more information about cruising with RANSA please contact the Office.

They have already had successful events at Refuge Bay, and also Australia Day out on the harbour at Chinaman's Beach in Middle Harbour.
